IMT through Workforce Development

The Industrial Maintenance Technician program is an intensive training that provides students with the necessary skills for entry-level positions installing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment.

Students will learn the underlying principles and hands-on techniques of electronics, 力学, and robotics. 课程 provide students the desired expertise to install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing mechanisms. This 12-week, 面对面, hands-on program will provide students with foundational electromechanical skills as maintenance technicians in an industrial setting.

Financing your training

The Industrial Maintenance Technician program is a $6,000 valued training. Due to generous grant funding, the cost for students is $2,400.

Funding may be available to qualified individuals to help cover part of or the full $2,400 course fee. These sources include:

  • NYS Department of Labor Individual Training Accounts
  • Local scholarships
  • Part-time TAP for Non-学位 Program: for non-matriculated students attending part-time

Our team works with each student prior to enrollment to determine funding eligibility. Most students receive funding for part or all of the training cost.

This program prepares students for careers in the following New York State Department of Labor O*NET SOC Codes: 17-3024-Electro-Mechanical Technicians, 49-9041-Industrial 机械 Mechanics, 49-9043-Maintenance Workers, 机械, 49-9044-Millwrights.
